I think that the Diamond is a great place for baseball. There is easy access from the highway, from town, from the north side, and the west end. In addition, there is no parking problem. I would really like to see the existing site refurbished for the new AA team. I think that it's a great site and that with some additional creativity it can be even better! I look forward to baseball's return to Richmond and to the Diamond!

Forget a Class B ball team ! Who wants that? How you gonna keep them down on the farm (satisfy the fans) after they've seen Paris (Class AAA ball, one step away from the majors)?

How about trying to snag the Nationals AAA team away from New Orleans? The trend today is for major league teams to have their minor league teams close to home. Richmond and the Zephrs would be a natural fit.
